Commitment To Overcome Waste And Garbage, Adhi Karya And Sucofindo Establish Cooperation
JAKARTA - PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) and PT Superintending Company of Indonesia (SUCOFINDO) have agreed to develop an integrated waste management solution.
This collaboration is a form of development of the mandate that ADHI and SUCOFINDO have as SOEs, in addition to providing sustainable benefits for the environment, but also as developing ADHI's business competence in the field of B3 waste management, which had previously been carried out in the Medan Industrial Estate (KIM).
The agreement between ADHI and SUCOFINDO is contained in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which was made online by ADHI President Director Entus Asnawi Mukhson and Sucofindo President Director Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi. The background of this strategic initiative is to answer the challenges of waste and waste problems in Indonesia which requires the participation of all parties.
"I believe that the competencies possessed by the two SOEs, namely ADHI and Sucofindo, are accompanied by good collaboration, we can create the best work by upgrading one of the AKHLAK values, namely competence in innovating and developing new technologies to be able to produce sustainable benefits for our environment," said Entus in his statement quoted on Wednesday, February 23.

This collaboration focuses on the procurement and management of waste and waste facilities intended for industry. ADHI as a contractor plays a role in preparing infrastructure development, factory operations, to marketing of existing facilities.
Meanwhile, SUCOFINDO will provide the best solution through testing, inspection, certification, training, and consulting related to ADHI's business development in various matters related to waste management.
The business development of SUCOFINDO and ADHI in this MoU includes several things, namely Integrated Waste Management Facility Management (FPLT), Oil Contaminated Soil Management (TTM), Port Reception Facility Management Plan, Medical Waste Management Plan, and Electronic Waste Management Plan.
On the same occasion, Mas Wigrantoro explained that this collaboration aims to develop and expand the scope of services in the field of waste management and increase SUCOFINDO's competence in the field of waste management. Another objective of this MoU is to improve cooperative relations between SOEs (collaboration between SOEs) and optimize the revenue achievement of the two SOEs.
"I hope that the collaboration between SUCOFINDO and ADHI is a good start for other collaborations in the future as part of a joint strategic initiative in supporting BUMN synergy," said Wigrantoro.
