The Venice Karaoke Person Trafficking Case File Is Submitted To The Prosecutor's Office
JAKARTA - Investigators at the General Crime Directorate (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri have completed the file of the Venice executive karaoke crime case (TPPO) and submitted it to the Attorney General's Office.
"It has been delegated. It is stage one," said Director of the Directorate General of Criminal and Criminal Investigation Police, Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo, to reporters, Thursday, September 10.
The transfer of files was carried out in early September and is currently being investigated by the Attorney General's Office.
"It was delegated on Wednesday, September 2," said Ferdy.
In this case, 6 people were named as suspects in the alleged criminal act of trafficking in persons (TPPO) karaoke executive at Venice BSD, Serpong Tangerang Selatan. They are pimps or pimps and management.
"3 pimps or pimps and 3 company management," said Ferdy.
The BSD Venice executive karaoke in Serpong Sub District, South Tangerang, Banten, was raided on Wednesday, August 19 evening. Initially, the place for the night spent violating PSBB regulations. However, after being traced this karaoke was also suspected of committing the criminal act of trafficking in persons (TPPO) with the mode of sexual exploitation.
It is known that this karaoke has been operating since early June 2020. Even this nightclub facilitates sexual services for its customers.
A number of pieces of evidence confiscated in the raid included two bundles of receipts, a bundle of "ladies" vouchers dated August 19, 2020, Rp. 730,000 which was "ladies" book money starting from August 1, 2020, 3 units of EDC machines and 12 boxes of contraceptives .
Then one bundle of "ladies" admission forms, one bundle of "ladies" attendance, three computers, one money counter, three printers, 14 kimono shirts as worker costumes and two hotel receipts dated 19 August 2020.
