Give Discounts Of 99 Percent Contribution, Does Not Disturb BP Jamsostek's Financial Condition
JAKARTA - The government is again providing assistance. This time the assistance is in the form of relaxation, ranging from discounted contributions to postponement of payments to corporations related to BP Jamsostek fees without reducing benefits to participants. This relaxation is contained in Government Regulation Number 49 of 2020.
President Director of BP Jamsostek, Agus Susanto emphasized, this relaxation will not interfere with the liquidity and BP Jamsostek program. According to him, before it was actually launched, his party had already conducted a simulation.
"We have taken this into account so that it does not interfere with the resilience of funds and we have also simulated it. So that God willing, the implementation of Government Regulation Number 49 of 2020 does not interfere with the liquidity of funds from BP Jamsostek," he said, in a video conference on socialization of PP No. September.
However, Agus did not deny that with this relaxation, target achievement could not be maximized. Because, from September to December 2020, only 1 percent of incoming funds.
"So, the impact is that the contribution will go down, the achievement of our target fee can only reach 70 percent. Because from today until December only 1 percent will enter," he said.
Even so, Agus again emphasized that everything was taken into account. So that government assistance this time will not interfere with BP Jamsostek liquidity. In fact, operations are also running normally as usual.
"We have already calculated it once, from the start we have prepared the cash flow. The incoming money is guarded for funding if the dues don't come in, so we are ready," he said.
According to Agus, the PP is a tangible form of Government support to maintain and encourage the business world to grow in the National Economic Recovery (PEN). The relaxation of Social Security payment contributions complements the previous stimulus, namely subsidizing salaries to workers.
"This is good news for employing companies and workers as well. We all know that the impact of COVID-19 is enormous in terms of health, economic life, social scale and tremendous casualties," he explained.
As for the adjustment of contributions in the form of loosening the deadline for payment of Work Accident Benefits (JKK), Death Security (JKM) contributions, Old Age Security (JHT) contributions, and Pension Security (JP) contributions every month. Payment from the previous no later than the 15th of the following month to no later than the 30th of the following month.
