Kudus PUPR Service Receives Budget Allocation For Road Repair Of IDR 30 Billion, There Are 58 Rehabilitation Target Sections
KUDUS - The Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office of Kudus Regency, Central Java, received a budget allocation for repair and construction of damaged roads in the 2022 budget year amounting to Rp30 billion.
"The budget for that amount comes from the Kudus Regional Budget as well as from the Central Government's Special Allocation Fund (DAK)," said Head of the Kudus PUPR Service Arif Budi Siswanto in Kudus, quoted from Antara, Friday, February 11.
He revealed that the majority of district roads in Kudus are in good condition, because the level of damage to new roads is around 7.66 percent of the total road length of 639,262 kilometers.
However, he said, the available budget had not been able to repair all roads in Kudus Regency which were damaged, so they had to wait for the budgeting of the previous year.
Of the budget of Rp. 30 billion, which includes routine expenditures for road repairs of Rp. 5 billion, then there are road improvement and construction projects of Rp. 7.8 billion.
For the rehabilitation and construction of damaged roads in Kudus Regency, it is planned to spread over 58 roads. A total of 21 roads of which are routine repairs.
In addition to the available budget for repairs and construction of damaged roads, in 2022, a budget for bridge construction will also be allocated, with funds from the Kudus APBD worth Rp. 7 billion.
"We have also budgeted for the construction of the road bridge, the value of which is Rp. 3.25 billion," he said.
