Indian Citizen Who Was Arrested At Soetta Airport For Faking Passports, Claims To Want To Do Business In Indonesia
TANGERANG - Head of the Soekarno-Hatta TPI Special Class I Office Romi Yudianto said his party was currently investigating the case of an Indian citizen with the initials RM who was arrested for falsifying passport documents.
"The destination is still under investigation for Indonesia. Meanwhile, according to this foreigner's confession, he came to Indonesia to do business. His confession," Romi said when confirmed, Friday, February 11.
"(The perpetrator) is still being investigated, because the person concerned is always changing when asked," he continued.
Romi said, the perpetrators will undergo examination for 30 days. Later, if there is sufficient evidence, his party will submit it to the prosecutor's office.
"Obviously, the investigation process is in the detention room for 30 days, if there is sufficient evidence, we will transfer it to the prosecutor's office," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a foreign citizen (WNA) from India with the initials RM was arrested. RM used a number of fake documents when he entered Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City.
Head of the Soekarno-Hatta TPI Special Class I Office Romi Yudianto said the incident occurred on Tuesday, February 8. He said that RM entered Indonesia with a passport that did not include his real name.
"A foreigner with the initials RM was caught red-handed using a fake passport with the initials VM with a photo that has been replaced," Romy said in a written statement, Thursday, February 10.
