Although The Central Government's Desire Is Not Fulfilled, Anies Accepts Run PTM 50 Percent Jakarta

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that he accepted the central government's decision not to accept his proposal to implement 100 percent distance learning (PJJ) in Jakarta.

In this case, the central government gives regional heads the discretion to replace face-to-face learning (PTM) from 100 percent capacity of students to 50 percent.

"We are orderly on the principles of government. If it has been decided, then we carry it out in the process. There is a proposal, but when it becomes a decision, then we will implement the decision. That is discipline in the government," said Anies when met in the Central Jakarta area, Sunday, February 6 night.

Since Friday, February 4, 2022, Jakarta has again held limited face-to-face learning (PTM) with a capacity of 50 percent of students. This 50 percent PTM has been applied for one semester from July to December 2021.

The implementation of this learning system follows the central government's decision to allow PPKM Level 2 regions to change 100 percent of PTM to 50 percent.

This policy actually does not fully fulfill the wishes of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. Anies proposed to the central government to stop PTM 100 percent and all students carry out PJJ.

Thus, the method of implementing learning is through blended learning, namely learning in class and learning online. In a week, PTM is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meanwhile, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, disinfectant is sprayed throughout the school environment. Face-to-face learning times for each level are as follows: a. SMA/SMK equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 5 hours of lessons (175 minutes a week) b. Junior high school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 4 hours of lessons (140 minutes a week) c. Elementary school equivalent maximum 35 minutes x 3 hours of lessons (105 minutes a week) d. PAUD maximum 30 minutes x 2 hours of lessons (60 minutes a week)

Class conditions that apply face-to-face learning: a. SMA, SMK, MA, MAK, SMP, MTs, SD, MI, and learning equality programs by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 18 students per class. b. SDLB, MILB, SMPLB, MTsLB and SMLB, MALB learn by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class. c. PAUD learns in class by maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters and a maximum of 5 students per class.
