Queen Elizabeth II Holds 'Screen Step' In Her Home For 3 Days

JAKARTA - Queen Elizabeth II organized a movie with a drive-in concept at her residence at Sandringham Estate for three days.

Starting September 25, 2020, Queen Elizabeth in her private home of 20,000 acres or 8,000 hectares, will screen various award-winning films, such as 1917, A Star Is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many more.

The Oscar-winning war-themed film by Sam Mendes will kick off the drive-in series at 5pm UK time on Antara to launch Monday. Then the film show continues with Rocketman, played by Taron Egerton as Elton John at 21.00 and Toy Story will be played at 13.00.

On September 26, it is the turn of Hugh Jackman's musical film, The Greatest Showman, which will be screened at 17.00 and closed with Freddie Mercury's biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody at 21.00.

The last day, September 27th, Disney's animated film Moana will be showing at 1:00 p.m. Then proceed with the classic 1970s musical film Grease which takes place at 17.00.

The Oscar-winning film from Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's A Star Is Born will conclude the series of drive-in films at 9 p.m.

To be able to watch a film at the residence of Queen Elizabeth II, viewers can buy tickets for £ 32.50 or equivalent to Rp.635 thousand and guests can pay an extra £ 7.50 or Rp110 thousand to add a table, chairs and popcorn to the side of their vehicle.
