20 Times In Action, 2 Perpetrators Of Robbery In Medan Were Arrested By The Police

MEDAN - The Medan Timur Police have arrested 2 perpetrators of motor vehicle theft who have acted in the cities of Medan and Binjai, North Sumatra 20 times.

The two perpetrators, Fahmi Syaril (26) and M Fahri (24) were arrested on Tuasan Street, Medan Tembung District, Tuesday, February 1.

Both were arrested based on the victim's report named Hendri Gurning (50), a resident of Pembangunan I Street, East Medan District. To the police, the two perpetrators admitted to having acted in 20 locations.

"It's been 20 times", said the perpetrator Fahri, Thursday, February 3.

In his confession, Fahri has acted 15 times in Medan City and 5 times in Binjai City. When in action, Fahri is always with his friends.

"There are always two or three of us. Sometimes I am the executor, sometimes I am monitoring the situation", he said.

This gang of criminals stole the victim's motorbike parked on the terrace of the house. The stolen motorbike was then sold to a man in the Medan Marelan area.

"The price depends, starting from IDR 1 million to IDR 2 million", he said.

The last time, the two perpetrators stole a motorbike at the house of a resident named Hendri Gurning (50), a resident of East Medan, Monday, January 31. Perpetrators stole a Kawasaki Ninja BK 5621 AFA motorcycle.

The Head of the East Medan Police, Kompol Rona Tambunan, appealed to the public to further improve motorcycle security.

"To lock the motorcycle with a double lock. This is to prevent the theft", he said.
