Jimin BTS Confirmed Appendicitis And Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - Long time no see, the Big Hit Entertainment agency shared the latest news from Jimin BTS. He tested positive for COVID-19 and was suffering from appendicitis.
On Sunday, January 30, Jimin felt a slight stomachache and sore throat. He went to the hospital for an examination and took a PCR test.
As a result, Jimin suffered from acute appendicitis and also tested positive for COVID-19. Today, Monday, January 31, Jimin has undergone appendectomy.
“According to the medical staff, the operation went well and Jimin is resting while recovering. He will be hospitalized due to appendectomy and COVID-19," the agency said on the same day.
Furthermore, at this time Jimin had experienced a mild sore throat but his condition was gradually improving.

It's been a month since BTS returned from the United States. Currently the members are undergoing a period of rest before returning to their normal activities.
