AGO Checks Rahmat, Younger Brother Of The Pinangki Attorney And BMW Sales

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office has examined three witnesses regarding the alleged bribery of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa processing. One of the three witnesses questioned was the younger brother of Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari.

"One witness being questioned, Pungki Primarni, is the younger brother of the PSM Prosecutor," said the Head of the Legal Information Center at the Attorney General's Office, Hari Setiyono in his statement, Thursday, September 3.

Another witness questioned by the AGO was Muhammad Nicky Rayan Lukman, a supervisor of PT Astra International or BMW Sales Operation Branch Cilandak. One other witness, namely Rahmat, is said to be the person who introduced Pinangki to Djoko Tjandra.

"The witness who is being questioned again by the Director of Investigation at the Attorney General's Directorate of Investigation for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office, is Rahmat who is a private party or from the Archipelago Cooperative Supervisor," Hari said.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office has named three suspects, namely Djoko Tjandra, Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari, and Andri Irfan Jaya.

Djoko Tjandra was named a suspect in giving bribes to Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. Meanwhile, prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari was named a suspect in accepting bribes.

The third suspect, Andi Irfan Jaya, is suspected of having participated in an evil consensus in the processing of a fatwa at the Supreme Court. Andi Irfan is also suspected of brokering money from Djoko Tjandra to prosecutors at Pinangki.
