MANADO - The Navy Main Base (Lantamal) VIII and its ranks are aggressively carrying out COVID-19 vaccinations with local governments and other relevant agencies in order to participate in creating a healthy and productive society.
"The vaccinations carried out by Lantamal VIII and his staff are orders from KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono, also in order to speed up vaccinations in the country," said Commander of Lantamal VIII Brigadier General (Mar) I Wayan Ariwijaya, in Manado, Antara, Wednesday, January 26.
He said vaccinations were continuously carried out by the ranks, such as today Wednesday, the Tolitoli Naval Base (Lanal) held the COVID-19 "Vaccination Raid" at Mako Lanal.
In this activity, 39 people were successful in administering the vaccine, of which 32 received the first dose and seven others used the Sinovac and Pfizer vaccines.
Lanal Gorontalo carried out a vaccination attack in the courtyard of the Al Qamar Mosque, Tomsel Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo.
A total of 36 people took the vaccination, consisting of eight people receiving the first dose, 19 people receiving the second dose and nine people receiving the third dose with Sinovac, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Furthermore, the vaccination carried out by the Indonesian Navy Hospital dr. Wahyu Slamet Bitung today gave vaccines to 22 people from the first to third doses using the Sinovac and Moderna vaccines.
Likewise, the Lantamal VIII Health Service has injected vaccines to 18 people starting from the first to third doses using Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines.
Meanwhile, Lanal Melonguane at the Lanal Medical Center has given vaccines to 12 people, both the first and second doses using the Sinovac vaccine and Lanal Tahuna, who has also given the vaccine to eleven people, both the first and second doses using the Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.
In the process of implementing the COVID-19 vaccination in several places, the Lantamal VIII staff always implemented strict health protocols and until the completion of the vaccination, no post-immunization follow-up events were found.
