Marketing Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama, Darmawie Alie welcomed the digital payment collaboration between Indomaret and OVO which is expected to be able to meet the needs of non-cash and non-card transactions aka cashless & cardless which continues to become a trend.
"We are happy to make OVO one of the newest payment options at Indomaret, which is certainly easier and safer, coupled with the collaboration of various attractive promo programs that will increasingly provide benefits for loyal users, wherever they are," he explained.
The connection of these two large online-offline ecosystems is expected to complement each other, as well as strengthen OVO as a solution for the unbanked community, in line with the principle of digital financial inclusion which is one of the priority agendas of the G20.
OVO hopes that, along with the increasing trend of digital adoption in Indonesia, this collaboration can make it easier for all users to access digital payment services in various places, especially for people with very limited access to financial services.
In the future, OVO will continue to innovate and collaborate with various similar industry lines to always complement the financial needs of its users, especially during the pandemic. As an appreciation for users, OVO and Indomaret present a promo program starting from January 24, 2022, namely with a 60 percent Serbu Untung promo in the form of discount vouchers on the OVO application and 5,000 bonus vouchers specifically for new users.
