Choi Woo Shik Acted As A Policeman In The Policeman's Lineage

JAKARTA - Actor Choi Woo Shik is ready to transform into a policeman in the latest film, The Policeman's Lineage. The film can be seen by audiences in Indonesian cinemas starting January 26.

The film distributor, CBI Pictures announced through their social media accounts. "Something is not right in this police force. Choi Woo-shik is monitoring another police officer suspected of committing a crime," CBI Pictures tweeted on Friday, January 21.

Directed by Lee Kyoo Man, The Policeman's Lineage tells the story of Min Jae (Choi Woo Shik), a police officer who is asked to investigate his office mate and head of the investigation team, Kang Yoon (Jo Jin Woong). Min Jae enters the division under the leadership of Kang Yoon.

Min Jae has the principles of anyone - including the police if he does something illegal, then he is a criminal. This concept is different from what Kang Yoon upholds who has a clean record.

Kang Yoon thinks that catching the crime should be justified even though it's done illegally. Then Min Jae finds out what Kang Yoon did in catching a criminal.

With the action genre, Choi Woo Shik admitted that The Policeman's Lineage has a fresh story among other action films.

“I think it's refreshing to see a film in Korea where people do action scenes in suits. I want to show a different side of me while wearing the suit," said Choi Woo Shik.

Besides the two, this film also stars Lee Hyun Wook, Kwon Yool, Park Hee Soon, Lee Eol, and Lee Sung Woo.

The action between Choi Woo Shik and Jo Jin Woong can be watched through The Policeman's Lineage which will air from January 26, 2022 in Indonesian cinemas.
