Four Residents Of Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Omicron Positive
JAKARTA - As many as four residents of Mampang Prapatan District, South Jakarta (South Jakarta) were confirmed positive for the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
“In Mampang, there are four Omicrons. As for the residence, I'm also confused about the reporting system. That's why I asked first," said Djaharuddin as reported by Antara, Friday, January 21.
Djaharuddin, who is also the acting sub-district head of Cilandak, South Jakarta, has not been able to confirm whether the area has any findings on the Omicron case. Cilandak sub-district is one of the five sub-districts in DKI with the largest distribution of Omicron cases in Jakarta.
"From (Cilandak) Public Health Center there is no information yet, there is no definite information," said Djaharuddin.

Besides Cilandak, Kebayoran Baru District is also mentioned as one of the areas dominated by the Omicron case in DKI Jakarta.
Head of Kebayoran Baru Sub-district Tomy Fudihartono when confirmed, said that at least until Tuesday, January 17, his party recorded as many as 21 new cases spread across six villages in the region.
Tomy mentioned the six villages, namely, Petogogan, North Gandaria, North Cipete, Selong, West Rawa and Gunung Village.
"In Petogogan 45 percent of the 21 cases, so 10 (cases; ed) are in Petogogan," said Tomy.
However, Tomy has not been able to confirm whether the findings of the case are Omicron variants or not.
"Because when we talk about Omicron, we don't know exactly, there are cases that do exist but no data is given, whether they are in the Omicron category or not," he said.
