VIDEO: One Price Cooking Oil, Market Traders Choose Not To Increase Stock

A number of traditional traders at the Kramat Jati market, east Jakarta, complained about the government's policy. Traders complain that cooking oil is priced at one price, which is Rp. 14 thousand per liter at retail and is considered very detrimental to traditional traders. Traditional traders still sell cooking oil at a price of Rp. 20,000 per liter. Because the price from the distributor is still Rp. 18 thousand per liter. As a result of this policy, traders in the Kramat Jati market prefer not to increase the stock of cooking oil.
