OTT KPK In Langkat, North Sumatra, Regent Publishes Plan To Warn The Winds Reportedly Joins In Securing
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron confirmed that his party carried out a hand arrest operation in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.
Ghufron said, a number of people were arrested in this operation. But he did not specify who was arrested. However, Ghufron did not deny that when he was asked to participate in the arrest of the Regent of Langkat, the Plan for Warring the Winds was published.
"It's true, the KPK conducted arrests in Langkat at around 19:00 WIB last night, January 18. We have secured several parties," Ghufron told VOI, Wednesday, January 19.
Ghufron also revealed that some money was found in the silent operation. However, he did not specify how many.
"(Found, red) some money as evidence obtained at the time of arrest," he said.
Ghufron asked the public to be patient because investigations are currently being carried out on those caught OTT. The KPK now has 1x24 hours to determine their status and the allegations of corruption.
"Currently we are still conducting inspections of related parties. Please be patient, we will explain further after the inspection is complete," he concluded.
