Getting Tighter, People Can't Enter Malls And Tourist Attractions If They Haven't Been Vaccinated Twice
JAKARTA - The Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, issued a new regulation in the Minister of Home Affairs Number 3/2022 regarding PPKM Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 COVID-19 in the Java-Bali region. In particular, in tightening people's mobility in public spaces.
The Director-General (Dirjen) of Regional Administration (Adwil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal, said there was a tightening on the implementation of the Java-Bali PPKM. Where only people categorized as green in the PeduliLindungi application can carry out activities in public places. As is known, the green status in PeduliLindungi has the criteria for having been vaccinated with a complete dose. This means that residents who have received the second dose of vaccine are allowed to enter shopping centers, malls, and tourist attractions.
"Other substances that have changed in the PPKM Ministry of Home Affairs in the Java and Bali Regions, namely for hotels, supermarkets, cinemas, sports and fitness facilities at all levels, only apply the green category to the PeduliLindungi application that is allowed to enter," said Safrizal, Tuesday, January 18.

Previously, in the yellow category, people who were vaccinated once were able to carry out activities in public facilities, continued Safrizal, not this time. The public is required to receive two injections of the vaccine to be able to carry out activities in the mentioned places.
"Previously, in Inmendagri 1 of 2022, the yellow and green levels in the PeduliLindungi application were allowed to enter. As for tourist attractions, sports and fitness facilities only required the use of PeduliLindungi," he explained.
Even so, Safrizal said, there are exceptions to this application. Namely people who can not be vaccinated. "There are exceptions for people who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons," he concluded.
