The National Police Will Change The Color Of The Security Guard Uniform Again, This Time To Krem

JAKARTA - The National Police is planning to change the color of the security unit uniforms (security guards). The plan is that the uniform which is currently brown will be changed to beige.

"Still in the process of reviewing the color of the light brown shirt, it will change to a cream color," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, January 12.

The plan to change the color of the security guard's uniform because the current uniform resembles that of the police service. This condition is considered to be difficult and confusing to the public.

"The current uniform is too similar to the police uniform, causing confusion and difficulty for the community to distinguish between police and security guards," said Ramadhan.

When the assessment process is completed, the new uniforms for security guards will be published to the public. The plan, the publication process will be on December 30.

"On the anniversary of the Security Guard, a new uniform color will be introduced," said Ramadhan.
