JAKARTA - The richest person number 6 in Indonesia, as well as the CEO of PT CT Corpora, Chairul Tanjung, revealed that there is the largest digital bank in the world that is involved in developing mobile applications from Allo Bank.
The man who is familiarly called CT said the most important factors in the development of digital banks are platforms and technology. WeBank was the first digital bank in China to officially launch when it received its banking license in December 2014. Based in Shenzhen, WeBank is supported by a leading company, namely Tencent.
Tencent is a major internet and technology company in China. Tencent is noted to have a variety of products, including WeChat which fills the communication and social sectors. Tencent also has financial technology or fintech services in the form of WeChat Pay, QQ Wallet, and others.
