KPK Will Add Personnel This Year, From Investigators To Prosecutors
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to add personnel this year. There are approximately one hundred people who will be drawn to fill the vacant positions in the anti-corruption commission.
"In terms of HR plans, we still have less than 100 people, so that's how it is, and this year it will be fulfilled both from the JPU (prosecutors) and investigators, investigators," said Deputy Chairman of the KPK Nurul Ghufron, quoted from the Indonesian KPK YouTube. , Wednesday, January 12.
Karyoto said these additions needed to be made. Moreover, the workload of the main employees in the field of prosecution is already excessive because of the many allegations of harassment
However, he denied this excessive workload because there were employees who were dismissed due to not passing the National Insight Test (TWK). This is because the problem of staff shortages has indeed occurred before the transfer of status to state civil servants (ASN) was carried out.
"Whether there is a TWK or not, we at the deputy for prosecution do ask for additional personnel," he stressed. Thus, the KPK seeks to add personnel in the prosecution division to improve their performance.
"Indeed, the overload (case, ed) is true when colleagues are in session at that time, during the pandemic, you can't go to trial directly, use offline and others," said Karyoto.
With this addition, the KPK hopes that its performance will be even better. Thus, the eradication of corruption in the country can be more smoothly.
"Hopefully in 2022 the situation will also start to improve," he concluded.
