The Indonesian Women's National Team Perform In The 2022 Asian Cup, Starting Against Australia: Record The Schedule!
JAKARTA - The Indonesian women's national team will play in the 2022 Women's Asian Cup competition which will take place in India from 20 January. In this prestigious event, there are several matches that will be faced by Zahra Musdalifah and the team.
The Indonesian women's national team qualified for the 2022 Asian Cup after eliminating Singapore 2-0 on aggregate in the qualifying round. Srikandi Garuda was drawn into Group B and joined with Australia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The efforts and hard work of Rudy Eka Priyambada's team must be increased because it will compete with other tough countries.
In the inaugural match which will take place on Friday, January 21, Srikandi Garuda will open a meeting with Australia in the preliminary round of Group B. Three days later, Zahra Musdalifah and his friends were challenged by Thailand before facing the Philippines in the last match.
The 2022 Women's Asian Cup will be held in a semi-knockout system. The two best teams from a total of three groups automatically qualify for the last eight. While the remaining two slots will belong to the best third-ranked team.
Ahead of this agenda, the Indonesian women's national team has already undergone a series of training camps since December 12, 2021. Coach Rudy Eka called 40 names to be reduced to 28 players.
The centering agenda itself will last until January 15 and a day later the heroines will fly to Mumbai, India.
