Police Call Ferdinand Hutahaean Healthy, Lawyers Deny: Nerve Pain, Needs Specialist Doctors

JAKARTA - Ferdinand Hutahaean's lawyer, Ronny Hutahaean, claimed that the reason the police declared his client's condition was healthy was because they did not carry out a thorough medical examination. Because, only a general examination carried out by a team of police doctors.

"At that time, because of the limited number of doctors, what was being examined was about general physical conditions, namely tension and others," said Ronny to VOI, Tuesday, January 11.

In fact, Ferdinand's illness is a nervous breakdown. Where, a special examination must be carried out to find out the condition of the former Democratic politician.

"But because this is a condition, it will require a specialist to check his condition," said Ronny.

On the previous occasion, Ronny Hutahaean said his client suffered from a nervous disorder. So, it has an impact on the body and mind.

"As far as I know and his presentation (of illness, ed) is a nervous electrical disorder," said Ronny.

The disease greatly affected Ferdinand's physical condition. Because, the former Democrat party politician became easily fainted.

In fact, this neurological disorder has been suffered by Ferdinand for two years. However, it was not detailed how Ferdinand suffered from the disease in the first place.

"What I know and I have seen is that he has been walking for almost 2 years or more," said Ronny.

Meanwhile, the National Police confirmed that Ferdinand Hutahaean's health was in good condition. Previously, Ferdinand Hutahaean, a former Democrat politician had mentioned that there was a struggle in his heart and mind.

"If the health record is good. Then the tension is also good," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

However, Ramadan did not mention the disease that had been claimed by Ferdinand Hutahaean. It was only emphasized from the results of the examination, that Ferdinand Hutahaean deserved to be detained.

"In principle, when the person is about to be detained, an examination is carried out first. An examination by a team of doctors and a team of doctors states that the person concerned can be detained," said Ramadhan.
