PDIP Achieved Two Muri Records When Commemorating The 49th Anniversary
JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan has won two awards from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) when it commemorates its 49th anniversary today.
There were two records that were broken by PDIP, the first was a rice cooking competition with the most participants, namely 1,142 people. Second, create a book of the most rice companion menu variants.
"The record is very powerful, firstly, the cooking competition for the accompanying rice menu simultaneously with the most participants is 1,142 participants, it's amazing. Then the book variants for the most rice companion menu, two terrible records," said MURI founder Jaya Suprana presenting the award at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Dipenogoro, Central Jakarta, Monday, January 10.
Jaya sees PDIP as a disciplined and structured political party. All cadres, he continued, were disciplined in implementing the wishes of PDIP Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"This really does go down and it goes up at the same time," Jaya explained.
It's not just the two records, Jaya said, his party plans to personally give the PDIP DPP Chairperson Puan Maharani an award.
The award was made because Puan was the first woman to become the Chair of the DPR.
"The world record holder as the first woman to become the chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Previously there had not been and that record would last until the end of time," he said.
In response to this, Puan Maharani, who was the representative of the award recipient, thanked and gave appreciation to MURI.
He said PDIP was the first political party to come down by providing an innovation.
"On this 49th anniversary, all people know that apart from rice, there is another food menu and other rice companions. They are both nutritious, can be processed, delicious, and of course useful," he said.
Puan stated that all the activities carried out by PDIP today prove that Indonesia has a variety of riches. In fact, all of the food produced by PDIP is not inferior to a restaurant that has received an award from Michelin Stars.
In addition, Puan also expressed her gratitude to MURI who planned to give an award as the first woman to serve as Chair of the DPR.
"Of course this is an honor and appreciation for me that it is not easy to achieve this, but it turns out that the Indonesian MURI record can already state that this is true if no one denies it," he said.
Complementing Puan's statement, PDIP DPP Chairperson Wiryanti Sukamdani said the culinary competition to accompany rice was aimed at finding alternatives to fulfill nutrition for the community. Wiryanti also said that PDIP had a mission to eliminate the stunting problem in Indonesia.
Therefore, this competition is an event for creativity for cadres in realizing innovations for rice complementary foods.
"This rice companion culinary is an alternative to improve the nation's nutrition, made from local, cheap, and of course nutritious ingredients to form a strong and intelligent nation," concluded Wiryanti.
