Turkish Media Reminds Raffi Ahmad If He Wants To Sign Mesut Ozil: The Transfer Value Is IDR 60 Billion, Salary IDR 68 Billion Per Year

JAKARTA - Turkish media, Fotospor recently reminded Raffi Ahmad. If RANS Cilegon wants to bring Mesut Ozil from Fenerbahce, they have to spend a lot of money.

Fotospor said the cost to redeem Ozil from the Turkish club was not small. Homeland celebrities have to spend a lot of money.

"If the transfer of Mesut Ozil to RANS Cilegon really happens, the German player's slick game will enliven the Indonesian League 1 next season. However, Raffi Ahmad needs a lot of money to bring Mesut Ozil to RANS Cilegon FC," wrote Fotospor as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 10.

Referring to Transfermarkt, the transfer value of the former Real Madrid and Arsenal player is still around 3.70 million euros (around IDR 60 billion). This value will be the largest in the Indonesian League.

In addition to the transfer value, RANS Cilegon also has to pay Ozil's salary. According to The Sun's report, the 33-year-old's salary reaches 3.5 million pounds per year.

Previously, Fotospor reported that Raffi Ahmad, who is the owner of RANS Cilegon, in a video said that he had met and reached a personal agreement with the 2014 World Cup winning midfielder some time ago.

"Mesut Ozil is interested in joining Liga 1 next season. I spoke with him via WhatsApp (WA). We have agreed," said Raffi Ahmad.

Raffi Ahmad's statement was quoted by Fotospor via RANS Entertainment YouTube. Raffi plans to bring in world-class players to turn RANS Cilegon, which has just ensured promotion to Liga 1 for next season, into the strongest team in Asia.

Ozil himself is reportedly not feeling at home at Fenerbahce because he has never been trusted to play the full 90 minutes in the four matches he has played. He plans to leave in the January transfer window.
