1,422 COVID-19 Patients Treated At Wisma Atlet Hospital

JAKARTA - A total of 1,422 COVID-19 patients consisting of 571 male patients and 851 female patients were treated at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital (RSD), Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The COVID-19 patients were placed in towers 5 and 6, said Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, in a press statement on Friday, January 7.

He said the number of patients treated on Friday, January 7th, increased by 118 compared to the previous day, Thursday, January 6th, which was 1,304 patients.

Meanwhile, the accumulated number of patients recorded from March 23, 2020, to January 7, 2022, reached 131,596 patients with 130,174 discharged patients consisting of 128,519 recovered patients, 1,059 patients were referred to other hospitals, and 596 people died.

Aris Mundian added that the Special Hospital for COVID-19 Infection on Galang Island treated 285 patients. The number of hospitalized patients increased by 74 people when compared to the previous report. Previous reports of patient data amounted to 212 people.

There were 18,102 patients registered at the hospital since April 12, 2020, 17,816 discharged patients, and 1 patient died at Galang Island Hospital.
