Middle School Student Who Died With A Sickle Stuck To His Head, Want A Play With His Friend

JAKARTA – Cengkareng police officers managed to arrest 9 junior high schools (SMP) students related to the death of RC (15) near Taman Kencana, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Wednesday, January 5. The Cengkareng Police Chief, Kompol Endah Pusaparini, explained that the perpetrators seemed to have misdirected their attack when they attacked the victim.

This was known after the officers examined the victim's witnesses, namely RC's friends (15) who survived the attack incident. Endah said, at that time the victim and his friends had no intention of passing near Taman Kencana.

"So he (the victim) and 5 of his friends passed that location going to the PlayStation (PS) place, wanted to play a game. So it's rich in the wrong target", Endah told reporters, Thursday, January 6.

Previously reported, RC (15) died after a sickle stuck in his head. RC was the victim of an attack near Taman Kencana, Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Wednesday, January 5, afternoon.

After the incident, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for intensive care. However, because the sickle stuck in the victim's head was too severe, the victim's life could not be saved.

"Six of the gang of perpetrators, 3 of whom were victims' witnesses, so 9 people were (arrested)", said Cengkareng Police Chief, Kompol Endah Pusaparini, to reporters on Thursday, January 6.

Endah explained that most of the perpetrators were junior high school students. And until now they are still under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police.

Six of the nine perpetrators who carried out the attack were recorded as residents of Tegal Alur, Kalideres.

"This victim is our resident of Cengkareng, the perpetrator is a resident of Kalideres, we all know about the junior high school", said Endah.
