Ade said the incident occurred on Sunday, December 2, when he and his wife were passing through the Pulogadung Terminal and the roads were congested.
"Not long after, my wife saw a motorbike from the terminal, a girl and a boy were riding together. My wife saw this girl's bag had been grabbed by a pickpocket," said Ade.
Ade's wife then shouted. Ade then got out of his car. He grabbed the pickpocket's neck.
Even Ade has also asked for help from local residents who witnessed it.
However, when he was about to take the handcuffs out of his bag, there was no one around the location to help him. The pickpocket then screamed and asked his friends for help.
"Everyone got out of the terminal. One person wanted to hit me, I avoided it. I was forced to let go that thief for my safety," said Ade.
