Retired Police Officer Dies Lying At MT Haryono Pancoran, Witness Says Debt Collector Approached

Deni initially received a report of the victim's whereabouts at around 13.30 western Indonesia time, from the Transportation Service. Receiving the report, he immediately checked the location and contacted the Pancoran Police and the South Jakarta Metro Criminal Investigation Unit.
Meanwhile, a security officer for the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-department, David, said that he initially recognized the victim's whereabouts when a passing motorist screamed because the victim had fainted.
"People who happened to pass by shouted that someone had fainted, he was already on his stomach. Now when he was on his stomach he was still breathing, but we didn't dare hold it either," he said.
He added that shortly before fainting, the victim was approached by three men suspected of being debt collectors.

A few dozen minutes later, the Criminal Investigation Unit team and the Inafis of Metro South Jakarta Police came to the location to identify the initial location of the case. Police officers also secured the victim's motorbike for investigation purposes.
Officers evacuated the victim's body using a hearse from the DKI Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Service to undergo an examination at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.
