There Were 9,000 Train Tickets Canceled During The Nataru 2021/2022 Transport Period
JAKARTA - During the 2021 Christmas and New Year's Transport period, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta will consistently apply the requirements by the provisions set by the Government through the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, namely SE number 112 which is valid from 24 December 2021 to 2 January 2022.
During that period, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded around 9,000 ticket cancellations with details of cancellations at Pasarsenen Station around 5,000, at Gambir Station 2,000, and around 2,000 departures from Bekasi, Karawang, and Cikampek stations.
The ticket was canceled because it did not meet the requirements according to the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 112, including not having proof of complete vaccines (dose 1 and 2) for ages over 17 years, or the first dose for ages 12 to 17 years, not having a negative RT-PCR result file. for children under 12 years old or a negative antigen test file for children aged 12 years and over.
Passengers with incomplete requirements are not allowed to continue their journey and the ticket fee is fully refunded with a cancellation mechanism carried out no later than 3 days from the departure date (D+3). The ticket fee refund process can be done through the station counter with cash refunds on the same day or through Contact Center (CC) 121 with a 14 working day process using a bank transfer system
The provisions for long-distance train passenger travel (KAJJ) starting January 3, 2022, again refer to the Circular (SE) of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) number 97 of 2021. The provisions include:
