In The First 2 Days Of 2022, More Than 335 Thousand Vehicles Returned To Jabodetabek

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded that as many as 335,057 vehicles returned to the Jabotabek area on Day D and D + 1 New Year 2022 or January 1-2, 2022.

"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic (traffic) from the four Barrier/Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (direction Merak), GT Ciawi (direction Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama and GT Kalihurip Utama (direction Trans Java). and Bandung)," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru in a written statement received in Jakarta, Monday, January 3.

According to Heru, the total volume of traffic returning to Jabotabek is up 5.8 percent compared to normal traffic for the November 2021 period with a total of 316,634 vehicles.

For the distribution of traffic returning to Jabotabek from the four directions, the majority were 174,641 vehicles (52.1 percent) from the East (Trans Java and Bandung), from the West (Merak) 78,962 vehicles (23.6 percent), and 81,454 vehicles ( 24.3 percent) from the South (Peak).

From the east, the flow of traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 92,960 vehicles, increased by 24.5 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, traffic returning to Jabotabek from Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 81,681 vehicles, increased by 7.4 percent from normal traffic.

The total traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 174,641 vehicles, an increase of 15.9 percent from normal traffic.

From the west, the traffic flow back to Jabotabek from Merak via GT Cikupa Tangerang-Merak Toll Road is 78,962 vehicles, down 13.8 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, from the south, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from the top via GT Ciawi on the Jagorawi Toll Road was 81,454 vehicles, an increase of 9.6 percent from normal traffic.
