Indika Energy Owned By Conglomerate Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono Earns IDR 30 Trillion In Revenue, But Still Loses IDR 85 Billion
JAKARTA - The mining company owned by conglomerate Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono, PT Indika Energy Tbk, pocketed significant revenue growth as of the third quarter of 2021.
Citing the company's unaudited financial report, Monday, January 3, the revenue of the issuer codenamed INDY rose 43.28 percent to USD 2.15 billion (around IDR 30 trillion) in the third quarter of 2021 from USD 1.50 billion in the nine months of 2020.
The cost of goods also rose to 1.59 billion US dollars from the previous 1.29 billion US dollars. Gross profit still rose to 562.25 million US dollars from the previous 213.59 million US dollars.
However, INDY still recorded a loss attributable to owners of the parent entity of USD 5.95 million (approximately IDR 85 billion). The net loss decreased from 52.5 million US dollars as of September 2020.

Meanwhile, the total number of recorded assets rose 5.3 percent until the third quarter of 2021 to reach 3.68 billion US dollars, from the same period last year at 3.49 billion US dollars. In addition, total liabilities also rose 7.73 percent to USD 2.82 billion in the nine months of this year, from USD 2.62 billion in the same period last year.
This was followed by total equity of USD 851.93 million, down 1.71 percent from the third quarter of 2020.
