News Of Closing Due To Revitalization, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Still Operates Normally, Serving Passengers
JAKARTA - Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta was observed to be operating normally during the 2022 New Year holiday. Halim Perdanakusuma Airport served 673 passengers as of 10.00 WIB amid the revitalization news circulating.
"This is temporary data until 10:00 WIB and will likely continue to increase until the final data is at 21:00 WIB", said the officer of the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year Command Post at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Maulana Hady, as reported by Antara on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
Based on the data provided, a total of 673 passengers included 318 people from the arrival gate and 355 at the departure gate.
When compared to the 2021 New Year holiday data, based on temporary data, it was found a decrease in the number of passengers by 3,285 people, namely 3,958 passengers on January 2, 2021, to 673 on January 2, 2022.
Meanwhile, the total number of flights available at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Sunday to 10.00 WIB, recorded 11 flights consisting of 4 arrivals and 7 departures.
Regarding the revitalization news that caused Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to be closed on January 1, 2022, the airport through Angkasa Pura II stated that it would still operate normally as shared by the official Instagram account @haliperdanakusumaairport.
"At this time all flight operations departing or arriving through Halim Perdanakusuma Airport are still operating normally. If there is a change in departure or arrival operations, the relevant airline will be notified by a maximum of H-1", quoted from a notice from Angkasa Pura II which was uploaded on Instagram Story @halimperdanakusumaairport, Sunday.
