In The Evening Kelapa Gading Mayor Inspects Culinary Center, Visitors Scatter Out Of The Restaurant
JAKARTA - Restaurant visitors in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta dispersed upon the arrival of North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim on Thursday, December 30 evening.
They disbanded after finding out that the mayor was not alone but also brought in joint patrolling personnel for the North Jakarta judiciary operation who enforced the Level 1 Regulations for the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in DKI Jakarta.
According to Antara's observation, the young men and women who were visitors to the restaurant scattered out of the restaurant when the officers entered the restaurant.
The "guests" who came were dozens of joint patrolling personnel consisting of elements of the police, TNI and local government officials, the North Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).
Restaurant owners were also advised by North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim to comply with PPKM Level 1 in food stalls where the operational limit is set until 22.00 western Indonesia time with a maximum capacity of 75 percent of visitors from the total capacity.
The activity, which took place starting at 21.00 western Indonesia time, was in order to limit community mobility and reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim said that the restaurant's operational restrictions were socialized so that restaurants adhere to health protocols and avoid crowds, especially during New Year's Eve celebrations.
"It doesn't mean that we prohibit activities, we only ask to obey health protocols. So if there will be celebrations in residential areas as well, it will be advised if possible with their respective families at home," he said as quoted by Antara.
Ali also warned managers of tourist attractions in North Jakarta, such as the Ancol Dreamland Park, to vacate the area at 15.00 western Indonesia time.
For this reason, on Wednesday, December 29, Ancol Dreamland Park has been advised to limit visiting hours in the recreation area until 14.00 western Indonesia time.
Not only for tourist attractions, green open space areas such as Lake Sunter are also closed from Friday (31/12) to January 1, 2022.
"So New Year's Eve is closed, and the New Year's holiday is also closed," said Ali.
