Metro Jaya Police Chief Affirms Not Anti-criticism
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran emphasized that his staff are not anti-criticism and all criticism from the public is a capital to correct deficiencies and provide the best service to the community.
"Don't be bored to criticize us and give us input. Because criticism is energy for us and we are proud to be able to improve for public service," said Inspector General Fadil, Thursday, December 30.
Fadil also apologized to the entire community if any of its members' actions had hurt the community.
"I as the head of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, with all humility I apologize for any shortcomings, for the behavior of Metro Jaya Police members who have hurt people's feelings, we will continue to improve," he said.
There were three major cases involving members of the Metro Jaya Police throughout 2021.
The first case involved Aipda Ambarita (a member of the East Jakarta Metro Police) who served in the Raimas Backbone patrol team.

The case emerged after a viral video circulated showing Aipda Ambarita forcing to check people's cellphones by not following procedures.
The second case is the rejection of a report against a resident who was the victim of a robbery by a member of the Pulogadung Police, named Aipda Rudi Panjaitan.
The case then emerged to the public and the person concerned was subject to a transfer to the West Papua Regional Police for his actions.
The third case is a shooting case that killed one person by a member of the PJR Unit Ditlantas Metro Jaya Police with the initials Ipda OS.
