Djoko Tjandra Will Be Examined About Fake Travel Documents With Anita Kolopaking

JAKARTA - Djoko Tjandra is scheduled for examination at Bareskrim, Monday, August 24. Apart from being examined as a witness in a case of alleged corruption in the process of red notice, the police will also ask for information regarding the fake pass.

Director of the Criminal Action Directorate Umun Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo said Djoko Tjandra was examined as a witness for the suspect Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo. In addition, investigators will also examine Anita Kolopaking with the same status and case.

"Joko Tjandra and Anita Kolopaking were examined as witnesses for the other suspect (Brig. Gen. Prasetyo Utomo)," Ferdy told VOI, Monday, August 24.

Investigators will also ask for information from the Head of the General Secretariat (Kasetum) of the Police. The examination was to investigate the validity of the travel document issued by Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo.

"The examination of the Chief of Police of the Police regarding the official script of the validity of the letter format and the authorization of BJP PU," said Ferdy.

Previously, Djoko Tjandra was investigated for a fake pass on Wednesday, August 19. During the interrogation, the investigator asked Djoko Tjandra 59 questions in 3 topics.

The first topic in the investigation was related to how Djoko Tjandra entered and left Indonesia without being able to know by many parties. Second, about the goals and things that Djoko Tjandra was doing with fake travel documents and COVID-19 free letters from Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo. This question is the focus of examination because it is related to the subject matter.

Finally, the investigator asked Djoko Tjandra to explain the matter of red notice. Because, in this case we have not found a bright spot.

In the case of a fake pass, Djoko Tjandra has been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code concerning the use of fake letters, Article 426 concerning assisting criminals to escape, and Article 221 of the Criminal Code concerning hiding the perpetrators of crimes.

The National Police in this case also named two suspects, namely Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and Anita Kolopaking. Both were named suspects based on the results of the investigation and investigation which was then carried out in a case title.

Brigen Prasetyo is subject to Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 426 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and or Article 221 paragraph 1-2 of the Criminal Code. Article 263 of the Criminal Code regulates the making of fake letters.

Meanwhile, Anita Kolopaking, who was Djoko Tjandra's right hand man, was suspected of having committed crimes under Article 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and 223 of the Criminal Code.
