COVID-19 Update As Of December 30: 189 New Cases, 399 Heals Increase
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 229,759 specimens were examined with the result that there were 189 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,262,540 and active cases are 4,311", said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, December 30.
Today's recovered cases increased by 399 cases, bringing the total to 4,114,141 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 7 people and the total was 144,088 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 53 cases and a total of 865,210 cases. Followed by West Papua with 29 new cases with a total of 23,658 cases. East Java has 19 new cases and a total of 400,048 cases. Then, Central Java with 17 new cases and a total of 486,907 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Papua with an additional 252 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 34 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 32 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 19 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 62,956,193.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.10 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 4,700 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
So far, 160,012,443 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 113,004,368 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 1,288,890. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
