TEMANGGUNG - The implementation of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Temanggung Regency, Central Java, has reached 76.5 percent of the target of 624,346 people.

He conveyed that for the vaccination of children after 6-11 years, almost 8,000 children were out of the target of around 70,000 children.

Vaccination of children in Temanggung Regency has indeed been carried out in several locations, but the vaccine movement for children will be intensified next week.

"At the same time, we have scheduled several schools to vaccinate children aged 6-11 years starting next week," he said.

According to him, there are relatively no barriers or obstacles in vaccinating children, because officers can go directly to schools. Until now, there has been no refusal to vaccinate children, the school and parents have enthusiastically welcomed it.

"Yesterday, when the Regent witnessed the vaccination of children in Kranggan, the community was enthusiastic about vaccinating these children," he said.
