Case Of 13 Children And Daughters Of Pedophilia Victims Of Entertainment Place Entrepreneurs From Jakarta, LPAI Ready To Provide Assistance
JAMBI - The Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) assisted 13 teenage girls who were victims of pedophilia from an entrepreneur at a nightclub in Jakarta in undergoing the legal process to completion.
"We are ready to assist victims whose average age is 13-15 years for legal processes both in the police and the courts," said Jambi City LPAI Representative, Meri Marwati, in Jambi as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 28.
LPAI said this case was extraordinary, because the victim was a minor and came from an area that was brought to Jakarta.
"We will provide assistance to the 13 victims who have reported the case to the Jambi Police to minimize the impact experienced by the victims," said Meri.
From the results of the assistance they had done, Meri said the victims did not only come from Jambi City, but also from suburban areas such as Kumpeh, Muarojambi Regency and other regencies.
Meanwhile, Jambi Province LPAI Representative Amsarnande said his party would also help Jambi City LPAI together accompany the victims and focus on providing assistance to the psychology of children who are victims.
The Jambi Police together with the General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimum) of the Jambi Police have arrested a man who runs a nightclub in Jakarta who is suspected of being involved in a pedophilia case with as many as 13 teenage girls aged 13-15 years from Jambi.
Jambi Police Chief, Kombes Eko Wahyudi said, apart from the man suspected of being involved in a pedophile case arrested in Jakarta with the initials S alias K (52), three other perpetrators were also arrested, namely Jambi City residents R (36), PIS (19) and ARS (15).
In this case, the suspect S alias K is the main perpetrator, while R and PIS are pimps and ARS pimps who are also minors. Their actions have been going on for the last two years or since 2020.
The disclosure of the case began on December 4, 2021, the Jambi police received a report regarding the case of the loss of a child. After investigation, it turned out that the child who was reported missing was in Jakarta.
