Visiting Bali Rising IKM Exhibition, Jokowi Hopes Products Made Into G20 Souvenirs
DENPASAR - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the Bali Rising Small and Medium Industry (IKM) exhibition at Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Center, Denpasar.
Jokowi appreciated the products made by IKM Bali. The President assessed that the products produced by IKM Bali have very good quality.
"I really appreciate this exhibition. We can clearly see how the works and designs from IKMs in Bali province are of very good quality," said Jokowi in a statement after observing the IKM Bali Bangkit exhibition, Monday, December 27.
The Bali Bangkit IKM Exhibition was attended by 35 small and medium industry players in Bali. They exhibit a variety of products ranging from traditional fabrics, folk crafts to furniture.

At the location, President Jokowi talked with several IKM players, including chair craftsmen, woven fabrics, and paintings.
During the review, Jokowi seemed to be guided by the Chair of the Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) of Bali Province, Ni Luh Putu Putri Suastini Koster.
President Jokowi hopes that the products produced by IKM actors can be selected and used as souvenirs at the G20 event which will be held in Bali in 2022.
"We hope that we will show this to the world when the G20 is added with products that we will select from other provinces," said Jokowi.
