KUPANG - Head of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province High Prosecutor's Office, Yulianto, removed Kondrat Mantolas (KM) from his position as Head of the Investigation Section of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office. KM was arrested by the AGO-53 Task Force Team for committing a disgraceful act.
"The NTT Prosecutor's Office has disabled Kondrat Mantolas from his position after he was arrested by Task Force 53 of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office on Monday, December 12 night", said Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office, Abdul Hakim, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 22.
He emphasized that the NTT Prosecutor's Office did not tolerate any prosecutors who took actions that damaged the image of the Prosecutor's Office.
According to him, Kondrat Mantolas is currently being investigated by the AGO after he was caught committing a disgraceful act while with the Director of PT Sari Karya Mandiri from North Central Timor (TTU) Regency, Hemus Taolin, in the Tuak Daun Merah (TDM) area, Kupang City.
The NTT Prosecutor's Office has appointed one of the investigators at the NTT High Prosecutor's Office to be the executor of the duties of the Head of the Investigation Section to facilitate the handling of investigations into alleged corruption cases that are being handled by the NTT High Prosecutor's Office.

"We don't know how much money the Task Force team secured when the arrests took place. We also need to emphasize that the NTT High Prosecutor's Office has never handled cases of alleged corruption involving the businessman", said Abdul Hakim.
