PEKANBARU - The acting Head of the Riau Province Health Service (Diskes) Masrul Kasmy, said the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination as of December 21, 2021 had reached 67.85 percent.
"This Tuesday, Riau's first dose of vaccination has reached 67.85 percent, and will continue to be accelerated to achieve communal immunity with a target of 70 percent," Masrul told reporters in Pekanbaru, Tuesday, December 21.
He said the achievement of the second dose of vaccination reached 38.7 percent.
Regarding regencies/cities that have achieved the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination above 65 percent, they are Bengkalis Regency (69.10 percent), Kuantan Singingi Regency (69.20 percent), Dumai City (77.20 percent), and Pekanbaru City (92,20 percent).
"Regencies/cities that have achieved the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination above 65 percent are Pekanbaru City, which is 73.80 percent," he said.
Next, the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination for health workers was targeted at 32,923 people, with the first dose of vaccination as many as 45,562 (138.4 percent), the second dose of vaccination as many as 43,220 (131.3 percent), and the third dose of vaccination as many as 25,131 people (76.3 percent).
