Good News, Pertamina Increases Fuel And Elpiji Supply In Kalimantan To Anticipate Increased Demand For Christmas And New Year

JAKARTA - Pertamina has increased the supply of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG by 1.8 to 26 percent throughout Kalimantan to anticipate the increasing demand for these strategic commodities during Christmas and the 2022 New Year.

"We will increase the supply between 1.8 percent and 26 percent from normal conditions, according to the type of fuel and LPG packaging," said General Manager (GM) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Executive Freddy Anwar, in Balikpapan, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, December 21.

Freddy detailed, for all of Kalimantan, the stock of pertalite type fuel was added by 5.4 percent or to 5,733 kiloliters (KL) from the daily average consumption requirement of 5,440 KL.

For the East Kalimantan region, the stock of pertalite was added by 7.7 percent of the normal monthly consumption or around 1,585 KL per day to 1,707 KL per day.

For Pertamax fuel, it was added by 7.1 percent from 1,333 KL per day to 1,428 KL per day in the Kalimantan region. For East Kalimantan, Pertamax stock was increased by 6.5 percent to around 176 KL per day.

The stock of Pertamax turbo fuel was also increased by 10 percent of normal monthly consumption, from 47 KL per day to 52 KL per day in the Kalimantan region.

For East Kalimantan, the supply of Pertamax Turbo was added by 25 percent, from around 12 KL per day to 15 KL per day. Likewise with the type of diesel fuel. The diesel supply for Kalimantan was increased by 1.4 percent, from 2,532 KL per day to 2,568 KL per day.

"However, for consumption in East Kalimantan, we have not added 605 KL per day," said Freddy.

High-quality dexlite diesel, plus a supply of 6.5 percent of normal monthly consumption or from around 944 KL per day to 1,005 KL per day in Kalimantan.

For East Kalimantan, the stock of dexlite increased by 26 percent from normal monthly consumption or around 228 KL per day to 286 KL per day.

For Pertamina dex, it is 1.8 percent of normal monthly consumption or around 47.9 KL per day to 48.8 KL per day in the Kalimantan area.
