The jogging track on the banks of the Gombak River, which is common for local sports, is also submerged. Animals such as snakes also appeared on the surface so residents called officers to catch them.
Meanwhile, the Selangor State Disaster Management Unit reported that until 12:00 noon, a total of 14,716 victims had been rescued and placed at 103 Temporary Evacuation Centers in the districts of Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Kuala Selangor and Hulu Langat. towards Shah Alam, Selangor, still submerged in floods.
A number of toll road sections such as Federal Highway, Batu 3, Federal Highway, i-City, NKVE, Bukit Jelutong, Section 7, Section 13, TTDI Jaya, Glenmarie Hicom, LKSA, Alam Impian were also affected by the floods.
Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has ordered the Fire and Rescue Team to evacuate and assist residents trapped in a number of flood -hit areas.
Ismail has announced a holiday to all officers affected by the floods.
