Today, The Wisma Atlet Hospital Inpatient Adds 82 People
JAKARTA - The number of patients being treated at the COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta, as of Saturday, December 18, increased by 82 people compared to the figure on Friday, December 17.
"Inpatients who were confirmed positive (COVID-19) in towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 were 198 people, while the original number (1 day earlier) was 116 people. There was an addition of 82 inpatients", said the Head of Information for the Joint Command Defense Area (Kogabwilhan) I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, quoted from ANTARA.
He also said that from March 23, 2020, to December 18, 2021, the number of patients referred to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital was 129,575 people. Of that number, 127,733 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,048 patients were referred to other hospitals.
The head of information for Defense Area Joint Command (Kogabwilhan) I TNI noted that 596 patients died at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital as of December 18, 2021.

On the same occasion, Aris also conveyed the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands. The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Saturday was 135 people.
"There are 135 inpatients, including 93 men and 42 women. A total of 135 patients were all confirmed positive for COVID-19", said Aris as quoted from his written statement.
The Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that in the last 24 hours there had been no addition or reduction of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital.
"There were 135 inpatients as of December 18th, originally (1 day before) 135 people", he emphasized.
From 12 April 2020 to 18 December 2021, the Galang Island Hospital received a total of 17,606 patients. Of that number, said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, 17,470 patients have been discharged from the hospital. Galang Island Hospital reported that until December 18, 2021, a patient died due to COVID-19.
