Welcoming Christmas And New Year's Holidays, Robinhood Launches Crypto Rewards Program, Indodax When?

JAKARTA – Ahead of Christmas and New Year's celebrations, one of the largest crypto exchanges from the United States, Robinhood, recently announced a crypto reward program for its customers. The exchange states that users can award a minimum of 1 US dollar in crypto and are free of charge.

“As with crypto trading, rewards are commission free,” explains Robinhood.

“Once you have customized your unique gift, you can send it directly to that special someone via a special link that will go straight to their phone.”

The plan for the crypto reward program will be released on December 22. However, users in Nevada and Hawaii cannot participate in this program.

"Once the Sender has selected and confirmed the requested amount and cryptocurrency, it is the sender's sole responsibility to share the link to the prize, and the recipient may use this shared link to receive the prize," reads the Robinhood announcement.

In addition, the company also added that the recipient of the gift must first have a Robinhood account. Currently the Robinhood crypto exchange supports trading of Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Litecoin (LTC).

On the other hand, the Shiba Inu crypto meme community hopes that SHIB can be listed on Robinhood. ShibArmy has submitted a petition via Change.org and has been signed by more than 500 thousand to make their wishes come true. Responding to these efforts, Robinhood stated that it was not in a hurry to include the SHIB token on the crypto trading platform.

Robinhood alone managed to collect revenue in the third quarter of 2021 as much as 267 million US dollars. 52 million US dollars came from crypto trading, and the remainder from transaction revenue in three months from the transaction of the first meme coin in the crypto space, Dogecoin (DOGE).
