Can Make NFT With Low Cost, Rarible Marketplace Integrated Into Tezos Blockchain (XTZ)
JAKARTA – The Rarible Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Marketplace is reported to have been integrated with the Tezos (XTZ) blockchain on Wednesday, December 14 yesterday. This collaboration will allow Rarible to display NFT Tezos on its platform.
Rarible will also support direct sales of the Tezos NFT project and make it easy for users to print NFTs at low cost.
Cointelegraph reports that the integration of the Rarible and Tezos blockchain using Prof of Stake (PoS) consensus marks the third layer of blockchain that can be supported by platforms other than Ethereum and Flow, the Dapper Labs blockchain network that supports NBA Top Shot.
This is one of Rarible's efforts to build a multi-chain platform in the NFT context. In addition, Rarible is also rumored to be integrated with Solana and Polygon.
“Rarible firmly believes that the future of NFT is cross-chain, and interoperability is key to an efficient and successful NFT ecosystem. We have seen many alternative blockchains gain traction in the NFT space for their unique offerings, particularly Tezos for its low cost and energy efficient printing process through proof of ownership validation,” said Rarible CEO Alexei Falin.
Rarible said that the integration will be rolled out in two stages. With this collaboration, users can print, buy and sell new NFT Tezos, as well as trade on the secondary market, starting with a collection of in-game metaverses called Digits from Ubisoft.
Then Rarible plans to print a new collection through a special contract and arrange royalties for imported collections that already exist in Tezos. Both parties have also officially launched the inaugural NFT collection under the title Blazing Futures curated by We Are Museums founder and NFT creator at Hic Et Nunc, Diane Drubay.
For your information, Drop Blazing Futures features exclusive works from 10 artists based in Tezos. As such, Faling hopes that “Rarible users will benefit from an enhanced experience in our marketplace, while enjoying exposure to a wide range of NFT projects that exist within Tezos' strong network.”
This integration is made possible through Rarible Protocol, an open-source community-managed cross-chain NFT protocol run by Rarible.com as reported by Cointelegraph.
