Jeff Smith Taken To RSKO, Complete Rehabilitation Assessment Process
JAKARTA - The soap opera actor Jeff Smith has been taken to the Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO), Cibubur, East Jakarta. He will undergo an assessment related to the application for rehabilitation.
"We are submitting it to the RSKO to take care of the administration because there are things that need to be taken care of," said Jeff Smith's lawyer, Aldy Surya, to reporters, Tuesday, December 14.
According to Ady, this assessment process was carried out after the request for rehabilitation had been approved by investigators. But the determination of Jeff Smith to undergo rehabilitation or not depends on the results of the BNN assessment.
"It has been agreed that he (the request for rehabilitation) has left for the RSKO," said Ady.
If the results of the assessment state that Jeff Smith is allowed to undergo rehabilitation, the soap opera actor will immediately complete other administrations. It is predicted that Jeff Smith could undergo rehabilitation for a maximum of 6 months.
"We will convey the recommendation when it comes out, it could take 3-6 months, depending on that," said Ady.
Jeff Smith was previously arrested on narcotics charges. He was arrested at his residence at Jalan Kelapa B 4 number 11, Depok, West Java, Wednesday, December 8.
During the arrest process, the police found evidence in the form of 2 LSD sheets. However, from the results of the examination, Jeff Smith bought 50 sheets of LSD online.
In addition, to investigators, Jeff Smith admitted to taking LSD for his stamina. In fact, the effects of narcotics actually cause hallucinations.
In this case, Jeff Smith is charged with Law number 35 of 2009. The threat is a minimum of 5 years in prison.
With this arrest, the soap opera actor has had two dealings with the police regarding narcotics cases. Because, Jeff Smith was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police with evidence of marijuana on April 15.
