The Regent Of Nagan Raya Aceh Will Remove Heads Of Offices Who Are Not Serious In Incentivizing COVID-19 Vaccinations
NAGAN RAYA - The Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh, HM Jamin Idham, stated that he would remove the positions of heads of offices, agencies, and offices within the local government, if they were not serious about implementing the COVID-19 vaccination program in their respective work environments.
"For heads of offices, agencies and offices who cannot achieve the target, we will evaluate their positions, including heads of fields and heads of sections, if they don't have the ability, I will remove them," said Regent HM Jamin Idham in Suka Makmue, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 13. .
Not only for officials, these sanctions will also apply to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Nagan Raya, if they do not inject the COVID-19 vaccine, they will also be given strict sanctions.
Regent HM Jamin Idham also emphasized that he had deliberately gathered all officials within the Nagan Raya Regency Government to ensure the success of the vaccination program in this area, including overcoming the corona virus outbreak.
"God willing, if this is done together, the targets and objectives of the government will be achieved, considering that Nagan Raya Regency is still far behind compared to other districts," he said.
He explained that currently Nagan Raya is still at 43 percent of the government's target, which by the end of 2021, all regions in the country, must reach 70 percent of the total target population that must be vaccinated to reach 131,725 people.
"To the regional secretary, assistant, head of service, sub-district head, this is everyone's responsibility. For ASN, namely civil servants and THL/honorary workers who work in the government, if they do not carry out the vaccine, they will be given sanctions, such as delaying promotions, cutting incentives, and others," he added.
The Regent, HM Jamin Idham, said that all ASN in Nagan Raya are responsible for their respective duties and functions, in order to make the vaccination program a success in the region.
"To the head of the health office, the director of the hospital, if there are health workers who have not been vaccinated, they cannot serve the community. To the head of the education office, if the teacher has not been vaccinated, he is not allowed to teach," he emphasized.
