Whoops! The Historic Car That Witnessed Anthony Ginting's Career Was Stolen By Thief

JAKARTA - Anthony Sinisuka Ginting has just had an unfortunate fate. The Indonesian men's singles badminton player was the victim of a car theft at his residence, Cimahi, West Java.

This news is known from Ginting's upload on his social media. While showing photos of the car, he also provided information about the characteristics of the missing car.

"The Hyundai Getz car with license plate number D 1713 SGR has gone missing," said Anthony on the Twitter account @sinisukaanthony quoted by VOI, Monday, December 13.

Still from the same upload, Ginting also explained that the car theft was expected to take place between 09.00 or 09.30 WIB, last Sunday.

The news of this loss was confirmed by Edison Ginting, Anthony's father. He also said the case had been reported to the authorities.

"The car was stolen early in the morning but I only found out at 12 noon after returning home from sports. We have reported it to the police and it has been handled," he said in a short message when contacted by VOI, Monday.

Regarding the car stolen by the thief, Anthony's father also said that the car has a long history, especially in the course of his son's career in the badminton world.

"It's a historic car for us, because in the past the car was used to shuttle Anthony to practice and compete," concluded Edison.
