JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen initiated to include people with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA) as one who is entitled to receive assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH).
"Later we will try to coordinate with the related OPD, because they (PLWHA) need it, how can they enter PKH," said Deputy Governor Taj Yasin in Semarang, reported by Antara, Sunday, December 12.
The Deputy Governor who is also the Chairman of the Central Java AIDS Commission (KPA) asked PLWHA who does not have a population identification number to immediately report so that the plan can be realized immediately.
According to the Deputy Governor, there needs to be a solution for PLWHA who want to treat various co-morbidities, because care and treatment facilities are only available in hospitals that are relatively expensive, while some of them are not registered with BPJS Kesehatan.
